+1 for terms and conditions of patronage agreements, whereby the terms and conditions of the customer's patronage are spelled out for the salesperson to agree to and sign.  Terms and conditions of patronage agreements might include clauses indicating that the salesperson confirms on behalf of the company that the product or service in question had in no way used slave or child labor in its production or distribution, including at any point throughout the product or service's entire supply chain.  Another condition that might be included in a terms and conditions of patronage agreement would be the salesperson's agreement to have the entire discussion between the salesperson and the customer (including the reading of any terms of service agreement) recorded for the consumer's protection and to be used in any legal proceedings that might occur at some future date.  Other conditions might include additional warantees or guarantees the customer might like put into force, or additional price reductions as bargained,  or, essentially, anything else the customer might want to include as a condition of his or her patronage.  Standard terms and conditions of patronage agreements or templates of terms and conditions of patronage agreements could be made available for consumers to download and print to take with them when they go shopping.
