Retirees losing 10% oftheir nest egg, business owners losing 10% of next weeks payroll, resteraunts losing 10% of their food buying and bill paying accounts, charitys losing 10%, investors inbetween investments losing 10%,  the list goes on.

The problem is, thay Cyprus has to be safed by tax payers money. But the banks, which need the money, have high deposits of dirty money from Russia, Greece, Great Britain... The idea was that those deposits should pay up to 15% or more, so that the tax payers would not pay the full price. But the president of Cyprus didn't want to intimidate the dirty money, so he lowered the burden to 9,9% an raised the part of the population to 6,75%. In recent news the president considers to raise the tax to 15% for higher deposits and lower the tariff for the population to 3%.

It's a trial-run, with a tiny country. There'll be a lot more of this in years to come.

Justinian I, the FDIC won't insure Americans' money from robbery by the government (and the international bankers who run it) either. We couldn't afford our debt already if we couldn't control the interest rate of the dollar--which we won't be able to do in the future, as more countries move away from it as their reserve currency, and currency used to trade oil. Robbery like this is coming to America, if we let it. Such attempts will positively be made, and the FDIC positively is not a defense against it.

Gone are the days when governments play along with the rich's legalized tax fraud and disproportionate taxation of the poor and middle class.   Eventually the rich will all buy Bitcoins as part of their ongoing tax evasion scheming and then poof, the internet will go down because there'll be no money to maintain the infrastructure, and, poof go all those precious bitcoins! The rich don't need bitcoins to avoid taxes. They've bought the governments that tax their livestock.

They hate bitcoin (and other free market currencies) because it allows other people than them to beat the scam international banking system of constant taxation via inflation and other government mechanisms (such as the topic of this thread).

Few people today have the land to grow all of their own food. Some are even prosecuted for doing it! We've been made into dependent, incompetent fools for generations. Intentionally.

As far as the FDIC is concerned, such a "fee" isn't a loss to be insured against. Hell, they're just making sure your money is secure until it's time for government to take it all. You don't need it. You're a better, more dependent, more patriotic cow for the globalist banker elite to milk without it. God forbid you can take care of yourself. You'd be out of their control!

The FDIC is owned by the same international bankers who are stealing Cyprus' money. They're not going to regulate against their own interests. There's absolutely no chance they'd do anything about government robbery of Americans' accounts.
