Weeks have gone by, and I have decided to create my first PvC ever…although I remain in the quest for Orion glory, I will attempt keep this as unbiased and fair as possible.
There are 21 players left, which means we are over 2/3 of the way done with this battle for galaxy domination. There remains: 6 Quantams, 1 Wardancer, 1 Partaxian, and 13 Custom races remaining.
So without further ado, herein lies Kuwait’s first PvC!!!!!!!

Hobbit has been on top of the leaderboard for the entire round. Through the maintenance of a large fleet as well as heavy infrastructure and research, he has been able to maintain his advantage on the leaderboard. With a recent demolition of a weak player adding 90 planets to his size total, Hobbit seems to be embracing he violent nature of this HC galaxy. His fleet, combined with his infrastructure, map position, and spread make him a contender for the win.

Wooptiedee has been near the top of the leaderboard for most of the round, but his recent surge in planets has given him a massive size lead over the rest of the field. It’s obvious he’s not afraid of a little conflict. The question we must ask is…will his infra catch up to his size, or must he worry that his newfound planets will be plucked away by a greedy SOB? Wooptiedee has massive spread throughout the western half of the map which will give him access to a number of families for the duration of the round. Will anyone be able to stop him and his murderous ways? With all of those planets, if he knows how to build proper infra he seems to be the favorite to win the whole thing.

Devilz has steadily risen up the ranks…he started off slow due to conflict, but unfortunately nobody killed him off so now he clears people 13 ticks away from his home system claiming it’s his core…He’s managed to increase his infra at an extraordinary rate while keeping his “core” clean and keeping weak players all to himself so he could gobble them up when they grew a little bit. Now he’s got a health planet count, a booming economy, and good spread in the middle of the map. With his attacking experience and central map position, I must admit I hope he and Nightwish fight it out sooner than later or I could see both of them clashing in the final 10.

I’ve been a mainstay in the Top 10 in networth and size since the 2nd day of attacks when I made my move against unsuspecting neighbors. I have consistently grown with the top families though both exploration and violence…snatching planets from unsuspecting neighbors exploring or snatching newly conquered planets and stationing massive fleets until my portals/lasers are up. My strategy has been pretty conservative, as I have attempted to protect my core while slowly expanding out to obtain spread to pounce on the weaker players in the galaxy. I’ve maintained a larger than necessary fleet to deter attacks, but it seems as though I must play more aggressively to assure my survival. So far I’ve used my spread to pounce on dying empires instead of attacking strong healthy ones. My area of the map is full of strong players who have avoided massive fights (with the exception of 7891), but that will change soon I’m sure so it is too early to tell how I will fair in the upcoming bloodshed. With glorious infra and research and a decent core and spread, I maintain my status as a contender but…

My neighbor for the entire round had been below me in size…then by the time I’m ready to make my PvC he shoots up to burst my bubble. Another strong player in the southeastern/northeastern corners of the map, Reyzil has shot up to contention. He will need to increase his spread to become a true contender, but seems safe for the time being. Again, he’s mired in the Western half of the map where a number of us are concentrated, and he will need to escape this death trap and look for smaller families to pick on to maintain his size advantage. However, if his diplomacy can keep him from getting in costly wars with similar-sized families, he has the potential to win it all.

6. Im On Acid aka HydroP

I’m not sure what exactly happened here, so I will reserve judgment. He conquered 100+ planets in the blink of an eye, got up as high as 240 planets, and then went inactive for a number of days. Now he is back, and maintains strongholds in two sectors of the map (center of the map and the southwest corner of the map). How will this player respond? He has the 2nd most planets by a comfortable margin and should be able to coast a bit while contemplating his next move. However, with rumors abuzz, and constantly losing planets, he may have a target on his back.

I don’t know much about this player, but it doesn’t look that great. With a strong networth and low planet count, I hope he has a massive amount of eships and massive fleet preparing to raid an unsuspecting player. He has no spread and is located in the center of the map, where greedy players may see his planets as “ripe for the picking” (I’m looking at you Devilz and HydroP). The strong networth may signify a big military, but unless he increases his spread and planet count quickly, he could be in store for an early exit.

Keerb is a mainstay in Orion chat…talking a lot of trash and attempting to intimidate those in the room. He has been a mainstay in the top 10, typically hovering between ranks 6-10 throughout the round. Keerb’s home system is unfortunately in the western part of the map (ugh another top 10 player with a Home System there), but he has managed to spread throughout the galaxy with a bunch of planets in the eastern part of the map, as well as portalled spread planets smack-dab in the middle of the map. Whereas he has some great spread, having a core in the Western half of the map could mean that he will be in store for a bloodbath if he survives to the Top 15, and his negative research bonus may hinder him when it comes time for massive fleets and the free-for-all that is sure to follow when everyone is close to elimination.

Still Keerb here. I've got a decent position. Haven't made many enemies yet, but doubt I have what it takes to be one of the last few remaining players. My original goal was top 20, now I'm aiming for top 15 at least.
I have been involved in 3 kill-offs. And been fighting a bit now recently, actually being knocked back by a player half my size. Kudos to him, very poor play by me! So got something to work on for future fights.
I think I will survive another week, and possibly a few days on top of that.

With a home system in the southeast corner, Schnapp has mostly been contained to that area, although we have witnessed his attempts to spread into the northeast corner (and ultimately into my core). Has had war and border skirmishes throughout the round, but now needs to concentrate on infrastructure and attempt to get spread to other areas of the map to continue to pad his planet numbers. At this point, it seems as though the big powers will farm the smaller players for the next couple days, and in order to get involved Schnapp requires a better spread or he risks falling out of the top 10.

With a home system in the southeast of the map, this player is my neighbor and we have lived in peace for the duration of the round. However, with a low planet count and a high networth, is he jumping his fleet prepping to steal my planets? We’ll find out. In desperate need of planets and spread if he wants to contend, but at this point he’s one raid away from being eliminated by the auto-delete. The issue currently is that if he has a lot of eships saved, an unscrupulous player may see him explore, take all his ships without risk of reprisal because he risks being eliminated in a couple of days due to lack of planets…his networth may save him from being completely destroyed by a big player, but with 0 spread and few planets, I don’t see him surviving the week.

Mizzle’s location in the western part of the map (for the most part) gives him access to some of the larger families in the galaxy. However, currently this could be a hindrance since he’s a fatty who could get planets stolen by stronger families. He needs to bulk up his empire fast if he wants to hold on to all of those planets. Mizzle has the experience to contend if he can hold on to these planets and attempt to gain a little more spread. His fighting all round has put him behind other families when it comes to his infrastructure, but a well-timed raid and peace while other families scrape to maintain a planets edge could put him back into contention.

Meija is my neighbor. Although we began the round on the wrong foot (I attacked him on two separate occasions), we were forced to have peace and have both benefitted greatly from this peace by conquering weaker neighbors to gain planets and space to grow. Meija has played the round very conservatively, but will need a bit more spread to stay ahead of the auto-delete and continue rising through the rankings. Meija has a solid defense and has an average networth/size ratio. Without diplomacy, I feel as though he may run out of room to grow and/or be attacked by a larger neighbor unless he grows quickly.

Venom has a core near the Southeast corner of the map. As with other families in this middle range, he has an average networth/size ratio. A couple of days ago, this would have been in good shape. However, with 4 players getting up above 200 planets in the last 24 hours, this COULD (in my humble opinion) cause an arms race in which the other top 10 players decide to go on the offensive to keep pace with their rivals. In this case, Venom will have to be vigilant to keep his core clean. Venom has the potential to rise into the top 10, but in my humble opinion the only way in which he can rise up into contention is by killing off a player similar in stature to his ranking (I’m looking at you 7959). Venom needs to concentrate on keeping himself strong through infra and fleet, as well as looking to steal planets before the auto-delete gets close to him. He has some work to do to rise up to contention.

Although there is a risk that he could b the victim of an unlucky raid right before autodelete, most likely Flashy will continue to slowly grow and eventually thrive. Flashy has been involved in fighting throughout the round, even threatening me with a long-distance war!!! How dare he. However, if he can gain a few planets in the next couple days, he’s a sleeper to contend. I wouldn’t want to kill him as traveling to all his systems alone is time consuming and there are easier targets out there. I think the future look bright (hehe get it? Bright and his name is Pyro?!)

Render is hovering in the bottom 4 size-wise, and hopefully he has eships and fleets ready to pounce on an unsuspecting opponent. With a networth under 500k, it looks as though Render is nearing he end of the line. Unfortunately, I fear Devilz or HydroP may seize his planets in a bid to become more formidable. Unless his diplomacy can save him (and it’s with people who are trustworthy), I fear he will struggle to make the Top 15, but not move on from there.

If so, will he be able to continue to lead a life of peace as the galaxy breaks out in war around him? Stay tuned

-was the main reason Glovebox rank 4th at the time is now dead after he killed off my neighbour it forced me to attack him and after a week or so of war he went from rank 4th to 19th with the lowest planet count and was then killed off by round knockout, other then this war I was having a off round and not really
