altruist if someone doesn't have the common sense to be able to reply to a message then they should be in some kind of mental home, not on IC. it really isn't difficult. i know render, he would message and welcome people and if they were new, help them out. they are only useless to us if they dont reply/dont grow/do nothing, literally just nothing.

thats very true i hate when a random joins doesnt say nothing and doesnt login anymore.. its stupid should have the power to remove if they dont respond within a 24hr period or something.. nobody in todays base of players joins a fam and doesnt reply for over 24hrs..

Make it an ingame rule/reuirement a new players has too msg the fams leader when he joins, if he doesn't he can be killed in 12h when his nw stays at 1250?

Its not that we dislike new players, we dislike players that arent communicating. Force players to post something on the forum before they can actually log off/build stuff the first time they log in or something like that

well i've been playing this game long enough to know that the about 60% of the randoms people get that join and never login again are multi's or old vets who were told to random to see if they can land in their fam i just find it unfair in fam sizes like this.. cause 1-2 inactives in a 6-7 man fam ruins ur round

It is a major problem tho mods dont seem to realise, it's destroying the flow of new players into the game. They arrive this rare thing kalled IK and 1st they notize it's all read and read and more read, and they arent able to find the game, "where's the game?"  "what do I have to do?"  "read the guide?? wtf? I aint reading a guide! I'm full of reading!"  "I'm leaving"

We need a VIRGO, PW kannot be the trashkan of IK, I read somewhere there's an advize for new players to join PW initially, It's the worst advize ever, and it's killing the gal.

At the beginning of PW it was me n Render and 4 complete inactives no joke.  This put our fam out of any chance to finish top 5 on the first day.  He has made a point to try to message every one of them but nothing.  I however am not that nice.  PUT THEM BACK IN VIRGO!1

False promises that start out with. If you stick to yourself u gonna get screwed!

The best way to accomplish this is to message them within 12 hours of starting, remember that even when the round has started already you can still build a grand empire. What may be pocket change to your family will be like winning the lottery for you!.

& u don't even have to make the 12h thingy a real rule, just implying the above should be enough for a new player to at least respond if he is going to play. I have had several players I saw joined instantly and even than they didn't respond to a welcome msg asking if they wanted help/some more cash&recources.

Either way, something needs to be changed if you want it to be somewhat fait and competitive seeing the current tight crew is running on....

+ with more even fams, SS'ers and ppl whom just build and doing more will be of less interest cuz people don't get pissed and lose interest after 2 weeks into the round.

Nope.. imho the absence of a rule like that is the eventual reason of the above.

I don't think I would have kept coming back for a few rounds if it wasn't for Virgo. I landed in a brilliant training family.

But, saying that, it's all about the communication. Without it.. There's no helping.

It's a fairly complex game when you're starting out and I agree with comments above stating that as a newbie.. I don't want to sit and read strategy guides and rules. I want to do what I want and learn from my mistakes.. With the option being there to go to someone who has been playing for a while.

Plus.. It's an ideal way to draft people into your family in the other galaxies which (hopefully) would mean people stick around..

Not a post containing any remedies as such, but more an opinion.

Well, I can only fight this argument by stating that new players don't check the forums (as) often. All the rest is unfortunately true
