Dear Interested Lover,

I have no objections to eating the animals that walk this earth. Different cultures each different animals, so I'm not above eating most any of them. My pallet has tasted a myriad of delicious bests from squirrel, to rabbit, beef, chicken, and bison. Not to mention the indescribable meat you find at chinese buffets.

*Also, I would have no objections to eating what I killed. I've squirrel and rabbit hunted for years.

You'll probably be mod the day after Arganon returns to IC and becomes a Moderator. Granted, by the time that happens, only 3 or 4 players will be actively playing, and 2 of them will most definitely be multi's.

Dear Broke-Ass,

It's all relative to your own wealth, the wealth of the woman you are dating, and the area you live in. Typically, on 1st dates, I like to take women to McDonalds and get 2 mcdoubles, 1 small fry, and 1 large soft drink with 2 straws. That's a $4 total, not including taxes. If she can't appreciate my amazing money saving skills, then she fails the test for a 2nd date. Also, if she turns out cheap, that's a good sign that future gifts (birthday, anniversary, valentines, etc) won't have to be expensive jewelry, but things more useful like used vacuum cleaners from Craigslist or ebay. As for your own situation, I would spend on a 1st date approximately what you would spend if you were taking out just a friend and decided to pick up the tab. That sets a good footing for the relationship. You definitely don't want a gold digger trying to get in your pants!

Ask Arby,

If you were locked in a room with Dpenguins, Artic, and Flint with a gun containing 1 bullet, who would you shoot?  You're each chained in a corner, so shooting one of them then strangling the other 3 is not an option. You have to shoot one of them, killing yourself (which seems to be the obvious choice) is not an option.  Also how long do would it take you to do it?  Would you shoot them before giving them a chance to speak, or would you wait a while to see which one annoys you the most?

ps. you have no idea how long you'll be locked in said room

If I had only one shot, and could not use it on myself, I would definitely have to shoot Dpenguins. Artic and Flint would just argue and end up strangling each other. Dpenguins on the other hand, I would be afraid of him touching me inappropriately since I was chained up and he really likes that 50 shades of grey kind of thing.

Dear Stressed and Tangled,

It depends on what "job" you're referring to. If you mean an actual job, and you are tying a knot in your tie, there are many different choices. I would recommend the Windsor. Timeless, simple, and quick, it makes a good impression. If you mean tying up the woman you just drugged at the bar, and don't want her escaping from your basement, then I'd do a double fisherman's knot just to make sure she doesn't escape and you get in trouble with the law for that again.

Dear Tired,

I highly doubt you could satisfy a woman like her. If it takes 10 cats to make her happy, no man is capable of replacing that. What I would do, is become BFF's with her, and then get her to assign you as her executive of state. Then either poison her or use narcotics to make her semi-comatose and allow you to file as her legal guardian. If you can't be with her for love, you might as well do the next best thing!

I prefer the Oriental, as I am very fat and wear ties I buy at 99 Cents Only (seriously, you guys) which come from China and are generally on the shorter side.  The Oriental gives a good symetrical knot without using a lot of length, and if you practice making a "u" as you cinch, it even gets a dimple.


The Windsor tie is considered very formal, and so it would actually be out of place with less formal wear such as with chinos or a seersucker.  Also it is fat enough it might not work with some collar styles.  Finally, whatever knot you use, the ends of the tie should be of equal length and they should just brush the top of your pants, so, be aware the Windsor uses a lot of length.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

Dear Silent,

We have only banned 1 person from #mod on our iRC server. Players, when they first join #mod now, cannot talk without getting +v. The channel is set to a moderated mode to prevent abuse of a infantile player who has decided he wants to come onto chat, and talk about diarrhea and other fecal matter. He spams, curses, insults...all against the chatroom rules. He is a disturbed individual, who has taken his obsession with me too far and it's now obviously taken over his daily life.
