yeah we did, there were i thnk 3 posts with birthdays and only the first one survived the transition it seems 
When you said you wanted to get forum mods "more involved", I didnt realise deleting threads was what you had in mind 
neither did i =P
i'm gonna restore a back up to see if we can recover those bdays. what's scary though is the idea that any threads or posts were lost at all. i'm glad you pointed this out
have you done the restore yet? just wondering if the birthdays are lost forever until people repost or if we could still get these back
not yet, planning to look at this today

My birthday is still missing from there, it was there once upon a time.
there are a ton still missing. if peeps want them added back in they need to make a post below it telling me there bday and i will add them all back in
The birthday thread isn't the only one with missing info:

That is missing about 3 or 4 times the length of the first post, including a list of who the players were and what their roles were.
how about we test the new fmods abilities and get them to go through the community forum and check the dates of all the happy birthday threads?
