Topic: Hyper Rounds in between regular rounds

I was reading about another game that does this between rounds.  1-minute ticks over a single weekend.

This would be different than other proposed shortened-tick rounds.  This would be very specifically meant to hold players over between rounds in regular galaxies.

It sounds ridiculous but also awesome.  Worth trying out?

Could be interesting.... even special weekly events... like every Sunday have one of these hyper rounds and keep track of the winners and what not.

Figure 12 hours in a hyper round would equal 30 days of a regular round

Maybe stretch the 12 hours out and do say 3 hour increments every Sunday.

Never rule out the possibility that you are a complete idiot

I like the idea but think it should be 5 minutes a tick.
