My idea is having a mid round draft to eliminate the smaller farms

The idea would hopefully help make a round more competitive and would also give the active people in these "out of PvC contention" fams to start fresh.

There would be stipulations of course:

-would have to be the bottom 5-8 or so fams depending on how many there were to start with
-player would have to have been in round since the beginning to take part in the draft
-one draftee allowed in each fam, and shouldn't count against VIP draft
-would work like a sport draft, lower fams that do not get dismantled would have top pick and so on

IMO this draft would take away the small farm fams we alllove to pillage. It would force fams to have wars with enemies more their own nw.

Also, imagine the mad scramble fams would have if all of a sudden there was another expo phase with open planets popping up randomly of people getting drafted. Would make for some fun times
