Topic: [Fixed] TO's: 'The maximum effect is 50%.'

Is this up-to-date? I had a discussion with someone who claimed it wasn't, I thought it actually is. Pie? Torqez?

By the way, I read this as: 'The max percentage of TO's you should have is 25%'. That is correct if previous statement is true, right? big_smile

P.s.: Love you Torqez!

Re: [Fixed] TO's: 'The maximum effect is 50%.'

Yea, that woulda been me.  It's not correct.  There is no maximum effect, so that needs to be fixed.

So if you have 50% of your infra as TO's, your income will be multiplied by 2!

Should the lack of maximum effect be fixed? Or the statement that there is one? tongue

there isn't a maximum effect.
25% gives the highest cash for a fixed number of buildings.
however there are some that say the best cost to return ratio is 22-23%  for a CF banker.

pop bankers tend to run 25-30% TOs to get more cash with a lower food cost.

Re: [Fixed] TO's: 'The maximum effect is 50%.'

Well? What will be changed? A new maximum or the reference?

Re: [Fixed] TO's: 'The maximum effect is 50%.'

The reference.

Also @ Valcona

Lets not get into strategy here, but pop bankers run 40% usually for TO, and go even up to 50%.  Saying it, not cos of strat wise, but to show Reindeer that its a tactic to go past the 25% writtent here (which is wrong).

Wrong, it is fairly easy to write up an equation to test the most efficient ratio if you only include a few variables like income %, food loss, and such.

Pro life tip, dont use blanket statements big_smile

Killas,  25% TO does give the highest cash output. I've done the calc myself; however, in the strat thread. there are proponets of different ratios being more cost effective.

Re: [Fixed] TO's: 'The maximum effect is 50%.'

The "Never above 25% TOs" statement was likely made regarding a CF banker, in which case it would be mostly true. For a popper however it would rather be the oposite, you should never go below 25% TOs.  Now everything between 25%-60% TOs for a popper can be argued depending on a few variables (income%, research%, food price), but that comes down to strategy.

I used to argue for 62% TOs back in the day. (ah 2004!)

I like My 40% to 50% TO's
