Topic: A Good Day for the World!

Hugo Chavez, a liar, a crook, a villain of the highest order... has died.

Hugo promised his people more freedoms while taking away their freedoms, he promised prosperity even while he taxed places under, he said he loved freedom of the Press but only those who praised him were allowed to stay open.

This evil man is now gone, and Venezuela has a chance to wake up and see what they have done to themselves.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

I'm just glad our beloved president had the chance to shake his hand and accept a copy of his book first! There was probably some bowing involved, but that's so common I can't recall specifically.

dpenguins, I'm pretty sure we could help those people exponentially more by not inflating the hell out of the value of their currency and taxing most of what they earn away from them. I could hardly believe it when I saw that ad on TV. I guess, given all of the outright lies by heads of state today--including America's--I shouldn't have been surprised.

I find your post very insightful, You_Fool. Could you please elaborate with examples on how Chavez and Reagan were similarly oppressive? I wish to learn more, but I do not know where to start.
