Now in my world he would get an award, his own microparade around school, and I would ask for local businesses to gove him some small things like ipods, free subway sandwhiches, and the likes.

In the liberals world he is a menice to society.... for saving a life!

That said, his punishment has nothing to do with Liberals, just idiot leftists. Liberalism is a comprehensive political philosophy, and its branches occupy a domain between center right and center left.

The word has been hijacked by modern authoritarians. Yes, you are correct concerning its classical meaning and usage. It is, however, lost. It's been misused beyond repair. It will never mean that again, at least not any time soon.

Suspensions? Shit we let parents suspend their kids for vacation.

You're overlooking the damage this does to him psychologically and, regardless of good parenting reassuring him the system is wrong and he acted rightly, the damage this does to the entire school--and entire nation--of children hearing about it.

This is how authority treats you for standing up for yourself and others. Children have been getting the message for decades. That's why so many kids are complete pussies today compared to decades ago. They've been pacified. They'll resist nothing. They'll fight back under no circumstances. Tell them to line up to die, and they'll line up.

That's the goal of the globalist authoritarians running the show who want to further enslave mankind. That's the danger here.

I completely agree that his behavior ought to be lauded and respected.

But you're ignoring the fact that a majority of our society today does no such thing. They're told he must be punished, because that's what the system says. And they believe everything they're told. It's in no small part because of actions like this by public servants who are now "authorities." And bad parenting and the often spoiled children of the greatest generation. They literally don't understand how good they've had it.
