Topic: [RESOLVED] Forum Bug: Not Remembered

In old forums we were remembered when we went straight to www.imperialconflict.com/forum

Currently it does not remember me when I load straight to the forum. As I use no public devices being remembered does not bother me.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Tbh, I think our new Forum is smarter than it appears...

First it bans Chomp, and then it forgets you.

Yes there are a few ways I have been kicked out recently and came back logged out.

I think there is a timer mechanism.

Last experienced issue 2 days ago but not been on much recently.

is it possible you are clicking links in posts that go to imperialconflict.com while logged into www.imperialconflict.com, or vice versa?

there is definitely a timer mechanism but it is set to years in the future.  the only way the game should be forgetting anybody is if they clear cookies or if they are browsing via some privacy-enhanced browser

to clarify, that applies to the forum but not the actual game.  the game will indeed forget about you after some time (an hour or so) but the forums should keep you logged in.  we'll be consolidating these rules at some point
