Well, what kicked it off was 66 exploring super aggressively into my area. 78 and 82 can confirm this because they were clearing some from their area sometimes faster than I could get to them.

So after I cleared the first one, 66 decides to clear 2 of my spreads (halfway between them and us) which got me annoyed. I explored north of their core, and took 1 in their core which i stationed heavily and lasered.

When I had about 14 ticks until port was in they hit it...losing between 2600-2800 bombers. Fail...My port came up, I smacked them for 50 and offered them a NAP as is. They have since refused to answer my messages which is now resulting in me hurting them even more.

Something we all have to get used to...not everyone can win. Not everyone can get active players at SoR. So we play the hand dealt.

Some people are already aware of how strongly I feel against paying planets for NAP.  I won't get into my reasons here because I don't want to bore you all to death.

However, what I will say is that Solis has told me (7875) and my allies that we are being stupid for not just accepting the NAP, paying the planets, and moving on.  Why?  Well, apparently because it will cost us more in the long run to keep fighting.

Ok, I get that.  But... if that is the case then aren't you also being stupid by threatening us with a war until the EOR?   Surely that will also cost you more in the long run.  You can't have it both ways unless you are agreeing that you yourself are indeed beng stupid as well.

I've talked with 7872 leader and he actually did agree, but only after I pummeled him with a tedious conversation.  So I'm not sure he just didn't agree to shut me up. =P  In any case, this idea of "for every day this war continues my offer goes up 15 planets" is a joke.
