With minimal resources, but plenty of gusto, 6932 organized an EOR mass wave against some of the big guys.  Some highlights so far:

Oh no not the D word!  6935 deals with insecurities about their ability to defend from a small fry, even though no attacks have been successful at this point.  Meanwhile fleets are en route to 6933, who suspects something fishy is going on after losing 21 planets:

Kudos to these guys for taking it like a champ.  Also kudos to King of Diamonds for continuing to grow, despite losing 100+ of his 900+ planets to us in a matter of hours.  Looks like he may still reach 1000 planets yet! (Morale be damned)


It's been fun.  Much respect to my family.  When I landed in 6932 mid-round things did not look good.  As we lost most of our players (including leader and top banker) to deletions, we fell to last place and things looked even worse.  We lost a war against 6941, and even now are still dealing with 6937 beating us in our own systems despite our best efforts to scrape up enough resources to fight back.

Despite all this, my family still kept up with the aid and were supportive in the decision to end the round with a not likely to succeed suicide mission instead of some lame EOR jump.

This is the IC I remember playing (well, except the whiner from 6935 =P) and it was just by chance that ALTEC (a former Foohon) randomed into our family late in the round.  I'm happy to have had a round with this crew, and am proud to welcome them into the history of Foohon families.  After all, the Foohons were always known for never giving up, and being willing to fight anybody regardless of size.

FYI, if you're getting destroyed by a last place family, that's ran by Pie as main attacker...you should probably retire from IC. That's almost as bad as losing to me.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

We had several hundred fleets over several people. smile  Some were careful enough to build lasers and/or station.  Others... not so much.
