Re: Obamacare fail of the week

We're all livestock to globalists. Every step toward less liberty and more government control of our lives we take, the closer we are to slaves.

Europe is falling to the same forces making their final grab on America's future. They're just farther along. Greece is almost ripe for the final picking--property prices are low and will be rock bottom soon. And its people, property stolen from them, bred to be dependent, will soon be grateful slaves.

Many more nations to follow.

I don't disagree, I just doubt the freedom you advocate is the proper way out of this mess. There are many kinds of freedom, and unless you plan on creating your own country I am not sure where you're going with this.

Re: Obamacare fail of the week

I'd like to go back to America's roots in liberty, away from the globalist authoritarian process which has been moving our nation toward slavery for the past hundred years.

There aren't that many kinds of freedom. There's freedom. And there's slavery. Sure there are grey areas in between, as government is a necessary evil, but that doesn't change the simple facts: It never becomes hard to tell freedom apart from slavery.

You don't think freedom is the way out of a 1943 IRS ruling that healthcare could be purchased by employers for employees before taxes, resulting in people being overcovered and overusing the most advanced/expensive healthcare system in the world (increasing the cost of insurance)?

You don't think freedom is the way out of competition being prohibited across state lines, stifling free markets?

You don't think common-sense laws could simplify "tort" reform and reduce medical insurance costs while maintaining legal protection for patients?

Where I'm going with this is that the "affordable care act" was never intended to bring down healthcare costs; it never addressed the reasons our healthcare costs are spiking. Where I'm going with this is that Americans need to educate themselves on what's going on before it's too late.

This isn't a contentious issue. It's big government authoritarians (globalists) vs adversaries. Republicans are on the side of the former. People need to wake up and realize what side they're on.

What's this, prices are skyrocketing as a result of "the Affordable Care Act?" Well that doesn't sound right! And those prices are skyrocketing just as government has gotten into regulating the [spit] out of the industry and continues to seek to run the entire system and reap all the profits? Shocking!

Re: Obamacare fail of the week

We're already seeing healthcare decline, as Democrats begin demanding nurses be allowed to see patients and write basic prescriptions.

Sure.

If the patient knows what's wrong with them.

But we don't.  Even DOCTORS don't guess right.  That's why everybody over the age of 9 knows what a "second opinion" means.

A group of nurses, set out there to solve the problems, will be managed so as to solve the problem.
Cost saving nurses who raises costs by referring complex cases to actual doctors, will be punished by their supervisors.

Public-Service Bureaucracies are eager to admit they made a mistake.

The tragedy is, the mistake they will admit, is lowballing how many people die unavoidably despite perfect bureaucracy,  instead of admitting the body count demonstrates: the bureaucracy is a failure that lets too many people die.

One thing's for sure; there's just not enough money to do it right. They could do it perfectly if they just had more money. Tax it out of the livestock! It'll all be perfect!

Obama is solving that too, by whoring the government.

In the corporatist state, mercenary corporate execs will accept lower profits -- OR EVEN LOSSES - to carry out admin directives.   They will be granted immunity from prosecution or punishment by regulators, and rewarded with greater access to the Administration -- which no amount of money can buy.

Or as Ayn Rand wrote 66 years ago:

"'We are at the dawn of the new age'  said James Taggart from above the rim of his champagne glass. 'We are breaking up the vicious tyranny of economic power.  We will set men free of the rule of the dollar.  We will release our spiritual aims from the dependence on owners of material means.  We will liberate our culture from the stranglehold of the profit-chasers. We will build a society dedicated to higher ideals, and we will replace the aristocracy of money by--'
'--the aristocracy of pull' said a voice beyond the group."
