Srsly, it was a good size when we all were shackled into 640x480 resolutions (oh the heady excitement of my first 800x600 monitor), but those times are loooong gone.

Rescale it so that it's more user-friendly pls

I say discard them entirely.  Image based nav sucks, we need to have them styled completely in css.
