yea cause 38 didnt war anyone all round and had amazing econ along with baller ass shares from when we failed our raid at bor. its not [quack]ing rocket science.

Ok so now its my time to explain how horribly wrong this thing went from the very start. To be clear, we never thought we would win...we just thought we could hurt 38 and drag it out.
1. Prior to war we decided to get our NW very low in order to show 38 we were going to try and stay under the 40% rule. We moved bank around a LOT, and I do mean a LOT. Then we were going to jump Colo with it as big as we could afford and hope that 38 didn't jump massive so we could clear their attackers from our shares and make it a tick war. Somehow during the fleet jumps we were missing 50% of our gc and our jump got cut in half. It was not until 1 tick before the war that we located the missing money (not going to divulge how it was missing) and it was too late to get him the fleet at that point.
2. When fleets came in, 38 did what we hoped they would not do...they jumped massive. However, they jumped so large that we were under the 40% mark even with us doing a 50mil NW jump. Quickly we decided to go ahead and dump some NW so they could not drop 10mil and be able to rape us. From here it gets tricky...
3. I came up with a plan to have Colo stay under the 35% mark of the 2 big guys in 38, but big enough to deal with broker and the rest of the fam. He would build fleet and when it was 1 or 2 ticks out (up to him) he would start clearing and hitting. The hope was that the two big guys would see it and drop NW in order to get in range and his fleet would come in and he would be big dog. This plan somehow got voted down and it never happened.
4. The plan that was put in to place (which I fully disagreed with) was to wait for them to drop NW and then jump fleet accordingly. The idea was that they would not be able to drop enough NW and get in range to clear us. The plan was extremely flawed...and we got crushed.
I know some people may not like me, they may not think I am any good, and whatever else I dont know...but just because they think that does not take away from the fact that I am actually VERY good at strategy in this game. Typically every strategy you come up with prior to a war is just a guessing game of what the other fam will do...but there is strategy in getting them to do what you want or countering what you think they will do. This is something that generally I am good at dealing with. Sadly, this war was not one where I was able to implement my plans.
