Topic: Viva La Vida - Colplay (New Album)

what do you guys think??

i surprisingly got the album --actually bought it big_smile

they were playing one of the songs at HMV when i was at the mall today, and i loved it so i got it
i'm not really big on rock, but i guess you can't call coldplay really in the rock genre

i liked almost all the songs, except the last one -- Yes!

the one i think they could've done better on was 42, it started out nice but then they totaly [] it up

Viva la vida (the song), and Violet hill gotta be the best ones so far..
42's growing on me though


any of you guys listen to the songs or get the album yet? and what do you think about it?

honestly they were going good with some of the songs and then they just went on another beat and a whole different song

a lotta experiments i think maybe too many tongue

what do you guys think about viva la vida ..the lyrics what are they off ?? me and my friends had a whole debate about what it actually was about

i think it's just in general somone who lets the power gets to his head, and his empire lets say just falls apart and now he's a normal person

some of my friends thought it had a biblical meaning

others --the french revolution

and some thought it had something to do with bush =S tongue

I'm planning on listening to the album, simply because Brian Eno produced it.
I'm hoping he managed to make them change their sound a bit tongue

I'll never know if it was worth the pain, but I still loved it more than anything in the world - it was my life.

i liked the album, but got bored of it quite quickly (came out on the 12th here in the uk). the better songs on the album i feel are cemeteries of London, Yes, Viva La Vida, Violet Hill and Strawberry Swing

I like it, but its Parachutes, and Rush of blood that have it for me still.
