~WoW~ (878): My Allies family, led by Blizzard had abit of a shaky start (to say the least) and 24H into the round they found themselves ranked 18th. However Blizzard has taken the reins of this family and has definitely so far delivered a cameo performance. Pushed 893 into a strategic NAP he is pulling his family out of a possibly dangerous situation. On top of that the weekdays should mark the return of MJ who should boost some more punch into the family. Allied to a top10 family has helped them, and the nearby alliance along with a well placed NAP has allowed them to grow. Their attacking capabilities have yet to be tested, and the next few days remain a test of whether they can pile on the infra onto their new found planets quickly enough to squeeze into the top10. Pretenders for top 10.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Priestess Alathea

Movie time! (886): A surprise family so far, Triqster has undoubtedly drilled their BOR strat safely into the heads of his family members, who so far, seem to have followed it to the letter. They also have set into a good mode of consistent infra building and all this has led to a driving performance from their family as an entity to ascertain their place on the map, by continually featuring in the top8. A last minute switch by Triq to being a banker has worked wonders for the family which seems to continually be on the push.  Taking advantage of Barbossa's family falling from pole position they have gone further and have reached #4 after which its all uphill.  Just like 878, this family will have to prove themselves in the attacking dept before much can be said about them - which is why i still doubt their capabilities to be up there for much longer.  Contenders for top10
PLAYER TO WATCH: Batman

EuroCup 2008 - ARSHAVIN (887): This family has again surprised me, but i wouldn't say that its in a good way.  They have been walking a very thin line, always finding themselves on the cusp of the top10 and i would've thought that with someone like Link on the forefront they would've cemented their place as true contenders to snatch the round.  However, with Link back from his exams (maybe even the reason for their bad start) this fam has gained a place in the rankings and seem to be steadily moving upwards.  They can only benefit from their allies, and the sudden upsurge of troubles in 889.  Their # of planets definately suggest to me a powerhouse of an economy, which i would suspect will help them further their attempt at domination.  However in my opinion they have lost the chance of snatching the #1 prize and will have to come up with something spectacular to take it. Expect them to linger into S3, and maybe start causing an upset in S2 against 876 who are not having the best of rounds either.  Pretenders for top5
PLAYER TO WATCH: EC Yacca

!!!THIS IS SPARTA!!! (881): My my my...This family have torn apart the bookies' predictions and have stormed through the round as, what one would seem, as clear favourites.  An exemplary performance of communication and togetherness the family have shown that you dont need hotshot, big-headed nutcases in your family in order to be successful.  Mostly a bunch of average players, apart from render,frenzy & k33rb they have taken PW43 by storm, and will be hoping to do so for a few more weeks to come.  A nice position on the map, with a very good choice of allies. This being said they have found themselves with a rogue, meaning gc spent will not be purely on infra and it does seem like the family are a little in need of a boost in their banking dept before things start spiralling downwards.  Their infra needs to be given a little buffer, and yet, it all just seems too good to be true.  If they sort out their minuscule problem i see them heading towards good things.  Contenders for top5
PLAYER TO WATCH: XXXFrenzyXXX

~ Euro Cup 2008 ~ (882): Alot of speculation surrounds this family, and you cant really deny this when someone like Cloud leads the way.  Till recently they have been the benchmark in PW, infra-wise, and sources claim that soon enough they will be once again leading the way when it comes to infra.  Bankers will be within touching distance of 75k/tick and this entails good news for the family.  However they have to be on the lookout for their enemies, particularly 880,883 and 875.  The family has a staunch belief that what they do will not be interrupted by outside sources - yet they have to be careful of this.  Cloud being a meticulous person has to brave himself and try looking for his flaws if he is to truly become a great player.  If he does not look deeper than his positive attributes i just cannot see this family cutting it through the top.  Sadly, it does not yet seem that things have gotten through to Cloud, however with such skilled personnel to catch him when he falls, will the family be as dependent on him as they have been in the previous rounds? We\'re going to Candy Mountain (879): Forget about the fact that 882 were the benchmark of infra.  These guys ARE the benchmark for infra, levelling 882 on planets but topping them 20k on networth they are definitely steam rolling it when it comes to cash.  A steady surge of income when it comes to the top 3 players in the family, they have juggled things well and between this family and 882 I feel them to have a more sturdy and secure line-up, as opposed to a more risqu

I remember PW19 very well because it was Awesome, Gestapo, Tyreal and many good players, I was lucky enough to be with Xelost and allied with them.  We fought Missile, HJ's and Grizzley's family respectively.
