Yes, my addition was to make hybrid that allows for all facets of the game. Moral limit sucks in 1 man, so would promote exploring instead of attacking. Same for ops. Keep all regular galaxy protections though, so it's not a HC round.

I do not see how this would work. You'll still have people attacking others to the point where the other person is stuck on 1 planet, disbanding, with no outsight of even expanding any longer. That person would have 2 options left:
- Sit out the round, doing nothing
- Delete

How is that better than killing people off, which is the whole purpose of an HC round?

Unless you guys want a round of Imperial Infrawhore, then do as Pickle says and remove attacking all together .

I played in an SS 1 man round with non-HC rules before and it was alot of fun. The only thing that really needed tweaking was increasing the op limit. Infiltrate in 1 man is pretty good but you need to be able to do PI and IP no matter what. If you're trying to fight a guy only having 7 ops and 1 op per tick is too limiting.

For NW limits thats tricky. You don't want to make the limit too high. People will just use it to get shares then jump when you can't clear them before they portal.

It'd be awesome if you could make the NAP system work so you could only NAP a family after removing a war declaration with the family or as a condition of ending the war declaration a NAP type could be included.

render is right, we aren't going to get it spot on first try (mainly as everyone's opinions differ).

Could always make it fams of say 5 or something but no intra fam aid. so 5 players all working as SS for the better of the fam. Would allow players to possibly still have some sort of teamwork without running a fam bank or fam jump system.

Still would allow for a lot of race choices in a fam as well

Yeah, still allows coordination and communication between people, but makes it SS play.

If you had 3 players you could effectively have a dancer, pax, quantum to cover ops and stuff and have some strategy to having different races in a somewhat different light than we currently have.

No, what you want is 1 man fams with the ability of doing 4 allies in the gal, that's maybe too muzh, but the ability to have 2 allies is something a lot of people mentioned.

If you wish to dabble in SSing without any attacking, feel free to join Mafia and have a muck around with start strats etc (same fam, but ppl SS for shits and giggles). Also, be active in the Mafia game if you wish to join, nothing worse than inactives joining and you will basically kill off any chance of being able to play in these sorts of gals again.

I know, not what you are all wishing for, just a temp solution/idea for those too impatient
