well at least we will be spending time together...
@ Pixies
It cant be called persuasion if the theme is allready decided when people join ![]()
But I like it anyway!
![]()
just delete my family already because we all know thats going to happen.
plan again for another 3 days to find out my family will be split up into the other teams.
Lol :-P
return of the greats is....
PW ready for another it's ben-a-while indeed. Apollo and MJ + plus flash.... ![]()
Pixies. You aare a war dancers this round?
Torqez it is indeed nice to play with different people, but also nice that if people joined midway through a round that you wanted to play with (or you just had a awful start etc) you do get another chance at it. It does mean there are 'super' fams a lot of the time nowadays, but back when we had a lot more players it was nice to build friendships over the period of two consecutive rounds.
Agreed, but playing with specific friends is reserved for drafting. I mean, yea you can get lucky and play with friends, but you shouldn't expect it in PW.
I remember in MW, when reshuffles were every 3 rounds. Then players who'd idle for 1-2 rounds, trying to random into their fam of choice. Then by then they get into the fam they want + drafts, = crazy stupid superfam.
And a lot of people would do this (with all the strong fams), so it was very common to have a fam like this.
I think, the intention with reducing this, was so that people don't waste half the round trying to random into the fam you want to 'draft into'. Rather, just random, and play outright fromt he beginning. Stops the whole deleting and shifting and minimses (a bit) the 'super fam' affect.

Personally, I think the best part of non-reshuffle rounds was when I knew which family was going to win, uncontested, before time even starts
almost time to play ![]()

1 Capitals of Earth
~ These guys seem pretty organized. There position on the map makes them a little disadvantaged. Already some mistakes made but different leader might have some spunk. The hobbits pretty close by, probably closest. #pretenders (right of the bat war declared)
2 PULP FICTION
~ These guys organized a bit too. 7808 are the only guys to annux there longitude on map. Might have it in them to predominate smaller families. But they got 2 families in their mediate vicnicity... #possible contenders
3 The hobbit (7809)
~ Also appearing to be vey organized. Possibly the contenders of round. Too early too tell still. Every family might switch tempo so it's all just theoretical this far. # uncertain
4 Half Baked (7807)
~ Well organized. Horrible map position. Two families nearby, if active they can shut down SWW and NE side of there outer core core early and come out victorious. #pretenders
5 The Scientists (7802)
~ Well organized. Sweet map position. Lot of active well balanced players. #contenders
6 (7808)
~ This early one and still no sign of life. No leaders elected yet. Horrible map position to, 3 families possible to flank and one possibly predominate one from the north west. #Pretenders
7 (7814)
~ Leader is known winner. But no signs of organization seen yet.
But there position of map puts them without borders. No one to there SE for eons but to there NE might have issues securing outer clusters later on. #Pretenders
8 Futurama! (7812)
~ Nice map position. Envied by most already for sure. Puts them a nice seat on the NW side of sector dead in the middle of plenty solar systems. Very nice theme and organization by leader. Early signs of success! #contenders
9 2013 and still going (7811)
~ Nice unique theme. Early signs of activity. Map placement leaves there western front a likely place for economic strength. But also that of strategic weakness. If they start filling the North East first they will likely survive EOR. If they leave the west side of their cores empty however they lose all gains to future infra as there are at least 4 active families that will move in! #contenders
10 AtsaP!
~ Sweet theme! Lots of life signs. Map position will be a hard one too decide on. Early naps will make the difference here as 06 is closest. They are virtually alone up there besides that! #contenders
11 (7803)
~ No signs of life seen. Leader not showing signs of diplomacy. Position of map might deman this. #pretenders
12 Mortal Kombat (7804)
~ Nice signs of life. Nice theme! But horrible map position... #pretenders
13 (7810)
~ I see a few I know. Well one.. Horrible map position, no signs of orginization, fail! #pretender
14 (7805)
~ Sweet positions. No early signs of leader ship. A few close families to worry about. Nice diplomacy and tactical positioning and happy days ahead. #contenders
15 Realm of Asgard
~ I like the theme. Nice placement on map. Nice organization, early impression of good diplomatic leadership, going to be needed for this one. #contenders
These are all just too early. I'll make another PvC after round moves from SOR into BOR. Let's see how point my predictions are... ![]()
