My thought was to give about a day to get into the galaxy, then a 12 hour check in phase once you get your role.  If you don't check in, you'll be removed and if you had a special role it will be re-distributed.

Thoughts?

Disagree.  The # of Roles and Distribution should be after you know the final player count (for balance purposes).

So once you're ready imo, create a new thread with rules - then give ppl 24h to check in, at which point after you can do the role assignment.

simple stuff... you just create how many roles you want for the # of people... if you remove someone just redistribute roles with parameters already set.

The problem with passing out roles before removing in actives, is if you remove townies and not mob, it ruins the balance.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
