We have (or have had) Milky Way, Pinwheel, Andromeda, Sagatarius Dwarf, Draco, Helix and Pegasus and these are all real existing galaxies. So I suggest when you merge two or three, we should give it a new name of an existing galaxy too.

Here some suggestions:

The Whirlpool Galaxy

The Sombrero Galaxy

The Hoag's Object

The Spindle Galaxy

The Antennae Galaxies

Messier 82 (Known as Cigar Galaxy, but I like a name like Messier 82 better)


my personal favourites would be Antennae, Messier 82 or Hoag's Object.

in all honesty i think i found the perfect name

Lenticular Galaxy

described as this and note the word "Stellar" several times and that really caught my attention, but asides that its a nice name Lenticular smile

These are, in short, "spiral galaxies without spiral structure",  (sounds like what we would have merging our 2 gals)

i.e. smooth disk galaxies, where "stellar" formation has stopped long ago,  (maybe since I Stellar Turd will be in this gal I can bring back the stellar formation to this gal where its been lost a long time ago) for those who dont know what stellar formation means; In astronomy, stellar evolution is the process by which a star undergoes a sequence of radical changes during its lifetime. (well radical change is about to take place is it not)

because the inter"stellar" matter was used up. Therefore, they consist of old population II stars only, or at least chiefly. From their appearance and "stellar" contents, they can often hardly be distinguished from ellipticals observationally.

Thus I vote for "Lenticular Galaxy"
