Re: Population growth timer
I have been getting alot of questions About this. Many beginning bankers do not know how to pop..
A simple tool That shows the amount of tics needed to get to max could help beginning bankers.

I agree that it could be useful, and it's already been suggested.
But I also think, that if you're teaching a pop banker ...you should teach them properly
Pop banking isn't just about building LQs and TOs!
Oh, you did just fine!
Edit: I do see a problem with your formula, now that I checked though ![]()
It should be A2 = A1 * (1+ (5+5*Pop Bonus/100) / 100 )
I prefer [Current pop] * ((1+(.05*[race bonus]))^[ticks])
This way you can scale it easily.
That'll only give you Pop at a given tick though - unless you link [ticks] to a numbered column.
I usually just do Killas method ....but as I know base is 5% and My pop growth might be say, 10%, then:
= A1 * 1.055
I use exel..
But its more for new players..

?
who cares about pop growth?? it just grows and thats the only thing you need to know
why people tends to waste his time in useless things? The time you get worried about formulas and how things work to the last detail, you stop having fun in the game.
Some people actually have fun with these kind of details. Me included ![]()
And I used to love min/maxing everything. I loved the intricate detail required. But, a lot of that is lost now, cos people just "want to get on with the game". Different people enjoy playing games differently ![]()
