Re: Can't play anymore...why?

Hi,

until this morning I played IC since the beginning of the new round. Some minutes ago I tried to login (which works), but the "Play as..."-link is missing and I've got absolutely no idea what happened. When I tried to join the Milky Way again for a fresh new start, I'm being told that I can't join a SECOND time in the Milky Way without a premium account. What could have been happened?
I've got two guesses, but I've got no idea how true they could be.

1: Kicked from the family. - Do you get kicked when you're kicked from a family? (Told the familyleader that I've got too few time for chatting - so I might probably have been kicked)
2: I spent my last money for research. - Is the round ended for me when this happens? 1 "week" later I would have had a lot money again - so I didn't think this could happen.

No other ideas or errormessages, hope anybody can help me.

It's probable  you were killed off and when you tried to rejoin it was full.  atm there is one spot open you can try again

I've had about 9 planets - wouldn't it be quite unusual if all of them were attacked all at once in one afternoon - especially as they were spread over several systems?

I see. A note for the killed player would be cool then. It's quite disturbing when you just can't play anymore without message :-/

a lot of families won't put up with people who do not join chat. this is a heavily family team themed game and people who arent as active as the leader wants will typically be killed off even though that is not really supposed to happen.  once in a while there are options for SS (self-sufficient) players to play on their own teams in hardcore galaxies but those galaxies arent always open.  an ss galaxy run like mw and pw might be a decent idea but it would probably take too much time to set up and it's sort of contrary to the theme of the game.  if you are new to the game and want a chance to play but cant be on all the time i would actually suggest the drafting thread. once in a long while some good fams who already won the round will draft someone new and teach them the ropes.  the best thing would be to get the mentor system back in place and the galaxy for new people but that takes a lot of time for developers who arent paid to put in all the hours they do
