have a warning when you click on another link when you have writing in a box in the forums.

a few times i've been writing something, gone to refer to ranks, etc and clicked and lost all of what i wrote. just a warning saying something like, "warning, if you leave this page you will lose any information, do you wish to continue?"

and maybe, another one in case you haven't clicked anywhere in 30mins (you get auto logged out), can be frustrating if you click send and lose all you wrote.

Just open the forum where you plan too type/post in a tab. You still have the IC side bar in the main account/tab, also helps when making a long post so you don't get logged out.

I think this is more easily solved if you pay attention yourself than getting our developers loaded with a bigger to-do-list smile

Maybe we need warning for every link, that says "clicking this may do something different from what you're already doing, are you sure you want to proceed ?"

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Flashy noob learn to open what you need in new tabs from the sidebar tongue

about losing what you're writing well it happens a lot, you have to get used also to select the tezt and copy with ctrl+c before submitting.

damn you how long you've been playing?? smile

the easiest solution is to implement an auto-save every minute like when you're writing a message in your e-mail, but I dont think this might be so important right now

i didn't lose it, i was just on another site and i nearly clicked away and it gave me a warning, so i thought i'd save other people from losing lots of writing. i've done it a few times but not for a long time!
