he's advocating a millionaire tax, not a billionaire tax :-)
He's a crook who makes money off of insider deals, because he buys the information just as he buys legislation from Congress.
He wants to tax the working busting their asses running businesses making $250,000-$1,000,000/yr, because he's so rich it doesn't touch him. He'll even escape the estate tax thanks to his army of lawyers and the legislation he's bought.
He's a crook. He should listen to us all tell him to go [cluck] himself.
He's a hypocritical POS.

I generally only read the one liners
Ofcourse he wants more taxes, it takes out opposition while he pays almost nothing.
If you're going to put a 30% tax on anyone who makes more than a million per annum, why not just stop working for the rest of the year once you've made your first million?
because you can have 1.300.001 and give the extra dollar to your kid.
To communists, that's a completely logical explanation. ![]()
They used to do just that. Read some of the Nero Wolfe books of the 40s, 50s, 60s. Also the Dow Jones was below 3000.
@spock:
no, they give you a 1 dollar coupon you can trade for cloths distributed in specialized shops you have to work in. Clearly, you're far to soft.
back in the 1940s the rich loaned money to the government and lived off the income - clipping bond coupons
at 1% interest that's not even an option anymore.
