when you have fleet stationed on multiple planets and you want to recall say, all the transports and bombers, i click the toggle button for bombers and transports and click recall. it does not work, says i need to specify which unit i want to recall. the only other way to do this is to click each planet individually and recall the specified unit individually. this is tiresome when you have fleets stationed on 20 or 30 planets b/c of retakes or whatever.
