I like playing Hungary and taking land and markets along spice route to China: Alexandria, Astrakan, Smarkland, Altai, Jiangsu, Ilse de France, colonize Siberia, be HREmperor, get port on Pacific Ocean and colonize West Coast of NA, all without having to Colonize New World idea.

I've got like 30 or so Vassals. Basically, all I really need have for military is 40 to 50k calvary and a few cogs (to send to Alexandria when there's a revolt).

Problem is stability hits for westernizing, changing political system to Empire and building like 200 churches and workshops - sets my technology levels back a decade, and with Milan uniting Italy with all those universities, Italy could be a problem.  So I am going back 40 years and trying again.  1470s - Malmuks, Timurid, Horde, and China pwned (all without being HRE) and with only 11 reputation - 15 or so vassals at this point.  Instead of releasing Xia and Qin, I figure I should hold the territory, and invade Italy first as HRE, make naples a vassal take market of Venice and universities from Milan.  But can I do so before France starts trouble with the Germanic states and I have to get involved...

I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
