I too can attest to the weak, mean, and dishonorable nature of 41.  I randomed there before the round, was active, and had warned them I would not be on the first tick because I worked that day.  When I got back from worked 6 hours later, I was ripped apart verbally by Jag and a few others.  I apologized, reminded them that I had to be at work, and aided in my leftovers (I had prebuilt as instructed).

Over the next few weeks, I would log in frequently during my non working hours, always aiding in 100% of my income, and explored about 70 planets for them and their jumps.  Occassionally I would be unable to log in for 12-14 hours because of double shifts etc., but always did what I was expected to do when I was expected to do it.  After 12-13 days of still sitting on one planet, and being told 'my jump was coming soon', they killed me off.

I guess they were hoping for someone who was wasting their lives 24/7 like them?  I was always nice, always cooperative.  On the flipside, Jag, AW, and a few others were particularly cruel and nasty.  They were always talking about who they would 'f up for getting out of place'.  They also talked frequently about how their strat of no pop bankers would allow them to boss around everyone else and 'f them up with ops, while not being vulnerable.'

When I logged in to realize I had been deleted, I joined a much smaller family.  What do you know, within the first few days, 41 was raiding our small family, grabbing planets, and threatening to take more if they didn't pay for a nap.  Now, which family was farming all round?  I saw it first hand, being both in 41 the first few weeks, then in the families they were farming after that.

As someone said, what comes around goes around.  Prior to their war with 38 I finally received payment for all the planets I explored for them despite them hating me and treating me like crap by launching a few nukes on their resourcers.  I wish more people would treat big bossy families who treat everyone poorly with that kind of reciprocity.

I seldom check these forums, but really want to set the record straight that they have been anything but honorable, having seen it from both sides this round.

At this point, none of this matters.  There is a lot of flaming, because a 72hr nap is a hell of a lot of time.  We'll see what happens.
