I think the Mayans as a culture and society were so much further along in development than the current Western world.
Anyways.... they have a round calender, please tell me where you can find the beginning or the end in a circular shape smile

It's nothing more than the end of an Age and the start of a new one, besides the fact the planets in the MW will be in (perfect) alignment with each-other in combination with Solar Maximum (the Earth & the Sun are closer together now than normal), I'll have my six-pack and bag of chips ready besides my binoculars and tinfoil hat big_smile
