Israel has launched a major operation.

Today they struck targets in Gaza and killed several top leaders.

This week they also fired into Syria for the first time (with ground based units) since the last war.

Israel is also the nation identified as bombing a weapons factory in the Sudan suspected of making weapons for Iran.

Tensions are up as Egypt is making threats against Israel including military action and as Iran is mobilizing its forces for 'high level drills'.


Israel has issued an emergency call up to its reservists and has stated a ground attack in to Gaza shall happen if rockets continue to be fired into Israel (800 missiles and rockets [not including mortar attacks] have been fired in the last year into Israel).

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Do you think US army should help Israel in case they start a real big conflict?? (and I'm talking about Iran)

Isnt there enuf trouble in the area?
Is this Sirian civil war another succesful operation by Mossad?
Is the world about to pay for past mistakes when placed the jews in that conflictive 'promised land' ??

I think all of this ultimately falls on us. We [largely] created Israel. We empowered it to constantly fight its enemies. We put it in the untenable position it's in.

We created it but never created an environment where it didn't have to deal with frequent attacks from hostile neighbors who didn't/don't recognize its right to exist. We've had the military might to settle the violence for decades, we just haven't had a single leader with the balls to do it.

That would be hilarious.

I was on the fence about how much military aid the US gives Israel, but then I remembered that we fund Hamas and terrorists too. Might as well fund both sides to make it fair!

I recall Obama telling Israel to restrain itself until after the elections, back in February at some time. Now Israel is releasing its fireworks.

Personally, I have no sympathy for those who fail to understand that the nuclear balance of power must be maintained, no matter the cost. Iran can not have nuclear weapons, even if heavy civilian casualties must result. And it's pretty stupid to think that diplomacy will convince Iran to stop its nuclear project.

Now is the time for all Western nations to unify under one banner, and burn Tehran to the ground as they did to Persepolis under Alexander.
