I was tempted to ruin the game.

Giving individual names is a bad idea. We townies could all declare our names and then mafia would be like wtf we do...

Even if they faked other peoples names they would be hosed.

I resisted but a reset allows me to mention it.

I had my doubts at first too, but indeed the special roles would be hesitant and you would still end up with a guessing game. Also mobs could claim to be a rapper and then it is still a guessing game.  Enough room to move.
