Ktiger, you got lucky randoming, but when you're in bottom fams you try every dirty trick in the book, so stop acting like a saint.

while Zidi hadn't spoken with 46, i had from the moment Bara attacked them.  i told them Bara was not acting in accordance with the fam's wishes.  until then, Bara had ignored EVERY threat and left the rest of us to handle intruders, etc.  but for some reason, he chose to attack the top fam when we were on the verge of being 40% out of their fam NW.  all the while, i made it extremely clear to Impire that we were trying to rogue Bara (who keeps on getting protected by certain mods) and that we could work out a PNAP deal.  we had always expected Bara to do something stupid like that.  what we didn't expect was for Impire and co. to ignore us and go with Bara's backstabbing plan, even though it allowed them to get a whole ton of planets with infra on them already.  46 didn't need to pull this crap to have a good shot at winning this round.  but the fact they did it shows how pathetically desperate they are to win.  it's like they caught the KTiger disease.  the game is dead when (once-)respectable players let their playstyle be affected by the dirt of IC.  i'm leaving this game for good, but i feel really sorry for the remaining honourable players who will put up with this crap for rounds to come (and it's getting worse and worse, i tell you).

for the record KTiger, you guys only "won" last round because you farmed small and medium sized fams, which my own fam had given free PNAPs to.  and even then you only won by 30 planets or so.  pathetic.

Honestly it wasn't so much what you were doing, its the hate we got from other fams. We had families messaging us asking for permission to raid you and leave the rest of us alone. Your reputation brings trouble.

You did have 2x the income of the fams above you in size however combined. I will grant you that.

when people credit last round's size win to Middle and Impire's fam, they encourage this wrongful thinking that it's OK to do whatever it takes (e.g. farming, backstabbing, etc.) to win.  all the honourable players know that the 30 planet lead they had over us doesn't make them winners in size, because we got there without farming, going after small or medium sized fams, etc (unlike them).

as i've been saying all this time, the main problem isn't that IC doesn't have enough players.  that's simply a symptom of a much more serious disease.  the underlying issue is that people's mentality has changed.  before, it was about winning with clean play and honour, because that takes true skill and people were striving for the respect and admiration of others.  now it's just about winning by all means necessary, even at the expense of trust, respect, and other values necessary for any community to flourish.

Chomp, last round they hit FNP and gilmour's fam (i think #52) for ~300 planets (out of ~1.2k) right after (and in this order):

1. my fam beat 52 in a war
2. 41 (ICD and Klepto's fam) warred 52
3. 44 (Pitbull's fam) raided 52

52 was barely within range of their fam when they started the rape.  how is that not farming?  i give credit where it's due but in this case there was no honour or reason for them to fight 52 immediately after all of those events.  they started on 52 first, not the other way around.  i didn't keep track of their other actions but that one really stood out to me.

When they say you got lucky randoms, that means you landed in a good fam. Please, read first before snapping off.
