Re: Defensive Battle Reports
Realistically there's no reason why you wouldn't, as the defender, know what was shot down. I'm suggesting that the defender get to see a battle report of attacks made against him.

Maybe put a "show battle report" link in the news for each attack? Would be helpful for all and to track losses/kills easier.
Logically speaking it makes sense but it would remove the vital component of estimating opponent fleets during intense fighting/wars.... and that will take part of the fun out of conflicts.
It wouldn't show fleet size, just battle report.
You would still have to guess fleet size, or do an infil and get the actual number.

Best of both - set up a report and then make it accurate +/- 25%
maybe it tells you how many lost
maybe it tells you 75%
maybe it tells you 125%
do u realise how annoying can this be for a banker being raided??? it will promote deleting ![]()
Why? Isn't it just showing what you have killed while defending your planet?
Maybe have it as an add-on to the defense report you get in the hq, so you would get the defense report as normal, then you have the option to click on the report to see what you killed ![]()

If you see attacker's units lost in a defence report, you don't have to estimate fleet size anymore u can calculate exact.
The only thing in the game stopping exact calculation of fleet sizes is the hidden attacker losses info in defence reports.
Attacker always gets the benefit for beng the aggressor . Defender shouldn't get that info
So, you're saying you use maximum fleet in every attack? If not, then no way to guess their fleet size from that, other than what you already know from your own losses.
Suppose your enemy is Mr. X. You know their original fleet from infil report or a strong guess from NW jump(if they dont have all units come in same tick)
You can record manually or check from infil the amounts Mr. X loses while your fam attacks Mr. X
If you implement this full defence reports thing, then you can check from your fam members's recent reports all the amounts MR. X loses while attacking your fam.
Result: You can track opponent's exact fleet size throughout the war.
Now currently in wars people always have to guesstimate enemy fleets to see who can attack who, and whats required to break a particular empire's portals for sending tickers or long range attacks. 2 attackers wake up on 3rd day of war and they don't know enemy's current fleets so they have to ask fam members/allies or make attacks on the enemy to try and figure it out.
But if you make it so that its possible(and even easy) to track exact fleet sizes, all this suspense and fleet estimation will be gone.
i wouldnt mind seeing a range...
it's estimated that we killed between x and xx
simple stuff
Yes!

Ezactly! you need ops to find out secondary details but you'd have main info for free wihtout using any op or effort.
So this idea gets a -1
