Seems he Antartic did a number on ol' Al Gore.

He visited it, and blogged about it, and such while he was there. "Oh it is melting!" sort of stuff.

Mother Nature loves making it colder whereever Al Gore goes.

In fact she set a record for ice down there this very year.

2012 has seen a record small size for summer ice in the Arctic.
Climate change science predicted rising global temps would increase ice at the Antarctic over a decade ago. In fact the antarctic is still too cold for optimal ice creating.

I was going to let someone put their foot in their mouth, and it was you.

That factoid: A cyclone hovered over the Artic and pushed a lot of ice out, creating the record loss.


Such events are bound to be rare, but can and will happen.




Can you quit grasping for straws btw Mace? Record ice in S. Pole and you say it is to cold for proper ice formation. Seems to me that ice formed pretty well.
