how about trying to do something for your not-so-good fam instead of bailing like a pansy?  sometimes it takes 1 committed player to make a fam come together

last round i randomed into a fam ranked below 14th in everything, 2 or 3 RL weeks into the round.  half the fam had just deleted, and half of the remaining players were inactive; there were only 3 semi-active players left in the fam.  nevertheless, i committed to the fam and my activity made the 3 semi-active players pick up their activity too.  we had to completely reorganize our infra.  we also had to wait a long time for other players to join us, since everybody else was like you and too afraid to play for a small fam.  i know it's not easy persuading people to stay in a small fam but eventually you find a couple of people to do so.  that's what we did and next thing you know, we ended 6th in NW and 2nd in size with 7 players.  yes it can be tiring and frustrating, but no it isn't impossible.


the problem with IC nowadays is that you have people who give up way too easily.  and that was really evident this round in MW.  if you somewhat force people to pool all their energy into only 1 gal, at least it makes things more competitive.  who cares if pansies leave the game because they can't play 2 gals poorly?  IC is better off without them anyways.  don't lose quality for quantity.  that's when things go downhill.

agreed magni , I'd far rather play one gal poorly then 2 and sticking with the fam you land in should be a must, this delete rejoining to get into a better fam is rubbish, once in you stay in, make it work so what if you don't finish top 5-10 first rd together , you don't know whats going to happen the next round.

guys when you are right you are right. If one wants to play he is gonna play whatever the circumstamces. If one wants to be carried to the win =different story.

6640 this round mw ranked bottom or close to it when i joined arby started carrying the fam with me and since then due to good work of the fam we climbed

I play pw because its non draft.. I like the mix of new fam every few rounds. That makes more of a challenge in my eyes.

just make deleters unable to rejoin a galaxy they was in till the current round ends. I bet there would be much more people stick around in their fams.

More people would stick around, but only because they created 10 multi accounts to random where they wanted to with that setup.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
