even if it goes straight to spam big_smile

i am telling you , galaxies will fill up fast tongue
be ready to open moar! tongue making it bigger cool

especially with Orion nebula or saggy dees smile
because i don't think there are enough people for upcoming HC galaxy , well depends on the setup smile

but yea ...MASS EMAIL SPAM FTW smile
people have the option on their e-mail accounts to block the sender .. so screw them smile

agreed, use all emails in our database to let them know a new galaxy is starting. manny games use this, and it allows us to get them back! even if 1-2 keep playing it would be good smile

An email program is something I've been thinking about.  I actually worked with email professionally for about 4 years so I have a few tricks up my sleeve wink

I think the first step though is auditing the optin process.  IC can get into legal trouble if we aren't careful about how we do things, but yes some kind of scheduled email for galaxy openings or even just monthly newsletters would be a very cool thing.

I'm going to add this to "the list".  I'm glad to see that others may be receptive to emails from IC. smile smile

You'd have to show damages worthy of compensation to sue.  "I spent 1 minute reading this, then throwing it in the spam folder" probably wouldn't count.
