Einstein, there's a good damn reason, why there is a seperation between religion and state.

It's the bloody federal law.  What do you think would happen, if you had nothing but religious zealots running the damn country?  Abortion would be illegal.  The pledge of allegiance would be mandatory, like it was back in the 1950's at every school.  Corporal punishment would be compulsory for all murderers.  At least in the deep south.

There is a seperation between the church and the state for a very very good reason.  All other non-christian ethos would be frowned upon, especially by the roman catholics.
