The Octarine Hurricane should last for the same duration as an electric storm and should compound further than 60%. It is not a very powerful spell as it is, especially when compared to electric storms or hypnosis...

There is not a whole lot that can be done against a CF banker besides just planet grabbing...

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

I just finished casting 3 and I feel like it isn't enough.

So if I can't destroy a CF bankers income long term then I would like to decimate it for a few hours at least...

The wrath of the hurricane seems like an inconvenience more than anything.

True, but 60% reduction of income is only enough to slow somebody down... Take away 80% to 90% of somebodies income and it starts to really hurt.

60% on a cf banker still hurts. especially if you can get a couple nukes or some raids on there. Pop bankers get pop killed, and they are out of the fight. No raids neccessary. Cf bankers are the more damaging raid targets. Between OH and then losing 1/4 of your planets, most of them are driven insane like Zarf.

One of the fundamental problems/truths of the game as is would lie in the fact that, when push comes to shove, there's really not much that can be done against a dedicated opper.  I described the problem in another of your threads, but it's applicable here.  Why... do we want to make this worse by allowing the already one-sided opping war, if successful, to be able to completely lock down banking?
