besides unless u show me the real facts of this study, it smells like bias to me.

who started smoking it at school, had lower IQ scores as adults, its like saying gamers r more agressive then none gamers, for all we know people with low iq just have a far greater need in canabis.

Omg a whole eight points.. I suppose when you think about the average IQ, eight points could mean something.  I would like to know what type of IQ test was given? The standard of intelligence testing has changed so dramatically in recent years that many of those complete are crap. This is especially so when considering different kinds of intelligences.  The relationship between the tester and the testee is some thing that should be closely scrutinized. The psychologists performing the tests could actually be complete dipshits.

for a lot of people 8 points would be the difference between of average intelligence and mental retardation!

And smoking weed doesn't keep them skinny. In fact, it would probably be an opposite effect. Munchies, no motivation to workout, and less IQ points. That's a recipe for trouble.



Although study makes me wonder...those who freely admit to smoking weed are usually less intelligent than those who hide it. Did they just test in the bottom percentile of pot smokers?

I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left.
