Tiger Woods changed golf with his winning streaks.

Wayne Gretzky is loved in the NHL...

David Beckham is a soccer legend

Michael Phelps just became the most medalled Olympian ever via swimming.



This list can go on. Everyone knows some sports hero, legend, or master.


Now talk of drugs and doping happen a bit in sports. Baseball had a huge issue on it at one point.

Yet one hero, a legend, a master of his sport stood in line for all piss tests, gave blood, hair, and swabs all.

He never failed a single test, often at standards that exceeded Olympic Standards.

On the word of one bitter team mate he stands to be struck of all his wins by an obscure US agency.


Lance Armstrong brought glory to cycling. Even with cancer he rode like the wind. He was not just an enthusiast he was the sport!

Now with no evidence and with the Statute of Limitations up this agency, breaking their own rules, is striking his wins.

Even the law means nothing to Obama's administration, nothing is sacred, you are either fully with him or you are a target to be destroyed. Much like they are trying to do with Lance Armstrong.


But this changes nothing. Lance will remain a hero in my eyes, a champion beyond champions. When the simpletons in USIDA are in retirement putting their dentures in Lance will still be remembered as a champion.





P.S.

France just cause the sport is held in your nation does not mean you get dibs to automatically win it. Try to be a good sport for once.

Couple of things

- Beckham is not a football legend.
- It has been proven Armstrong made donations to the WADA (World Anti-Doping-Agency)
- Drugs tests taken by Armstrong have mysteriously disappeared.
- 10 (i believe) American ex-team mates of Armstrong testified against him (which counts as evidence).
- Obama has nothing to do with USADA, it's an independant agency that is not allowed to be influenced by politics, if it is, US should be banned from all sports ASAP.
- France has nothing to do with a decision made by the USADA, and they do not gain from it either (none of the 2nd placed riders are french)
- The cycling sport is not just held in France.

- He was "training" with well-known doping expert Michelle Ferrari
- His team manager was Johan Bruyneel, who has a remarkable record of his riders being doped up
- A former masseuse of his' claims she had to dispose of syringes for him
- His personal assistant has claimed he found doping in Armstrong's hotel room
- There has been evidence of Armstrong's blood values changing an awful lot during the tour, but the evidence was dismissed as it was obtained whilst breaking privacy rules

All in all, there's a pretty decent case against him.

If they caught Johans riders being doped up why not Lance?

Syringes are used in a number of legit medical treatments. The man does have cancer.

No, blood values, as in, hematocrit values and red blood cell levels.

Also, I believe cyclists are banned from using syringes unless there is no other way of administering medicine, in which case you need a written testimony.

Also, it has been claimed Armstrong was caught, however the UCI (cycling union) was bribed. A couple of years back, Pat McQaid, the current chairman of the UCI has admitted the UCI had gotten huge amounts of "gifts" from Amstrong in the years of the accusations.

France had such a tizzy over Lance they made him go through extra hoops to prove he was not doping.

The best you have is weaksauce circumstantial evidence that could never convict regardless.

it's funny how cycling caught out all the other guys using drugs, and how none of them won back to back Tour de France races, and how everybody just kind of locked ranks to help Lance Armstrong win 7, and then didn't come together to help anybody else since.  I guess Lance Armstrong was a really nice guy and they liked him.  Or, maybe Lance sucked all the money out of cycling, and so there wasn't any point creating another multiple champion in a lab.

You could compare Armstrong's times against Wiggins's. Apparantly they are significantly better and Wiggins is probably the best cyclist of the past 5 years.
