However suiciding and round-spoiling is going too far. Mod team has their opinion, we have ours. Just because we don't agree doesn't mean we should go terrorist mode We just don't play, let other ppl enjoy an easy hc round and like you said, await a good battle

This is spose to be an ongoing HC galaxy, with different setups each round! If you dont like dont bother playing! Simple as that. Keep this crap up and Mods wont even bother to reset it in the end

You have a galaxy that is set up for 100 players. There are 59 currently inside. I can guarantee you that at least 15 of them are inactives who won't login ever again. Then you keep in mind that there are fams who will suffer as a result of not having 3-4 solid active players. Its not a "hardcore" galaxy at all lol Its just a waste of time for those who want to play (Not me, I can't be bothered =p)

Just saying, this was a good idea 3 years ago but not in today's IC. Gotta be more inventive. And this is not in the least bit a good idea. At some point you have to swallow your pride and say hey...maybe we didn't know what we were doing. Lets go back to the drawing board.

Poley in my (intended) PW setup for next round I'm setting 21 fams of 5 players each, thats 105 players I have calculated between the active and semiactive right now, substracting multis and inactives (130 this round).

Now you want 100 players for a HC gal and expect those 100 will be competitive and active players??
Nah, it will be a matter of luck, the contenders will be decided by a matter of luck, because from those 100 maybe 30 are really active/competitive. So a family with the luck to random 5 of those 30 will win, and thats a fact, no point in playing for other fams, and many fams with good players will give up early just because they have 2 or 3 inactives, so its easier for the strong fams.  You'll have a boring and useless round.

If you really want to draw a gal of 100 players and make it competitive you have 2 options

1) make it a SS round (1 man fams)
2) use a player pool like the one I designed (reversed drafting)

@ Render - Im not even sure you read my post, I said Fam #s and amounts are able to be changed if needed...

@ TCO - We had a back log of bugs that needed Dev attention. There was no point starting up another Gal and inheriting them also there... Now we have Stefan (on occasion) and Pie sorting stuff out, weve decided to get this HC gal up and running permanently (Shorter rounds, and continous resets)

If you guys actually embraced change in this game you might see more variation or whatever... Its a HC galaxy, anything goes, live outside your box! Youre able to be a challenge to a fam even if you were to play SS or 2 man team or whatever you get stuck with, this is what LEGEND status is made of, ppl that survive the so called inevitable. Quit complaining about how its unfair to you because of "luck" and play the damn game, experiment, try out different strats, whatever; instead of sitting there at your computer - LOGGED IN, and still whining that you want a diff HC gal up. Were never going to suit 100% of the players, and someone will always be unhappy with what weve done but tough titties!

Poley, Should you really be the one here telling people to quit whining about things being unfair when the last solo SD round you cheated and tried to make the game unfair in your favor, you were passed 70 planets with most being overbuilt by me because i was quitting and it jumped you into first till someone decided to hit you for them?
