Instead con artists, scammers, and greedy corporations already have stolen billions of Euro's in the system and look to steal much more.

In fact Europe shut down instant trading of carbon credits due to the "high level of crime involved".

The issues regarding kickbacks, bribes, graft, corporate theivery band more are so severe as to be believed.

Imagine three companies with the same product, same power usage, same 'emissions', same everything.

One is given a lot of free 'initial' credits, one gets an average amount, and the last is given far less than the average amount.

This may be from politicians or government employee 'assessors'. It could be favoritism, cronyism, 'favored zones' (which means a politician with more pull than others), bribes, enriching ones portfolio (I own stock n this company, it should get more), revenge (this one fired my sister) and other corrupt practices.

Is your company planning a secret downsize? Sell the useless spare credits you got for free!

Planning to go out of business? Sell the credits, make large bonuses for execs, start retiring out and replacing with new execs who have to sort out the mess you left them.

The worst scam is the airlines one however. Give your domestic airlines credits and none for foriegn airlines, and charge both ways of the full length of the flight in or out of Europe. Suddenly a US carrier going from Seattle to Paris costs twice as much as a French carrier. Greed at its finest!

Then there are so called 'sequestration' companies. The number of these involved in scams is truly tremendous. In one casd four companies in four nations each claimed credit for the same tree planting effort in yet another nation, and only a fluke caught them at it.

Such levels of corruption, greed, criminal behavior... and you're the one losing out... when will people see this for the disaster it is?
