after the necessary inevitable transition by big government ofc
batter up, strike 1
(off topic and offensive language)
The Yell,
The transition is inevitably accomplished by individuals and communities, as they continually get burned by corporations and colluding governments again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...
As they are repetitively defrauded by corporations virtually every time they buy something;
as they are repetitively defrauded by their governments by how their governments misuse their tax dollars and sabotage public services;
as they are repetitively robbed of every penny they have by either the businesses from which they purchase things or the government to whom they pay taxes or the banks which manipulate interest rates, inflation, etc.;
eventually their cynicism reaches the point where they literally can't afford to participate in the insanity of the monetary system any more, and then simply don't.
They, having been unemployed or underemployed, having lost the value in their pensions, having had the value of their real-estate diminished, resort to trading goods and services they learn to produce themselves - just as they try to get by. They do so by reaching out to others in their community and, perhaps for the first time in their lives, actually interacting with them.
They learn that others are trying to do the same thing; others are also providing goods or services and TRADING them not for money, but other goods and services themselves. They still function in the monetary system, but to function in it is too expensive, simply not feasible anymore. Yes, they can go to the hardware store to get the air-conditioner unit they never needed until now (because global warming is such that summers are hotter), but they can't afford or don't find it reasonable to have to pay a corporation 10 times what the air-conditioner cost to have it assembled and installed by a licensed, certified, aid-conditioner assembler / installer who went to air-conditinoer assebler / installer college for 2 years to get these certificates.
Instead, he finds an air conditioner installer / assembler guy and makes a barter transaction deal whereby in exchange for the technician's time he will provide goods or services in exchange: a barrel of home-brewed beer, or fix his computer, whatever...
Such people operate today in this sort of neighborhood-barter-economy out of necessity, and they realize they don't really even need to operate in the monetary system all that much anymore because pertty much EVERYBODY is doing it. In fact, their community has come together to survive economic catastrophe, and they enjoy being able to make their own rules, play the game how THEY want; they are ecstatic that they can create their own opportunities that cannot be thwarted by those in control of the monetary system; they are ecstatic that they don't need to pay off a middlemen to attend courses to get the certificates they need to get the licenses so they need so they can start the corporation they need so they can EARN A LIVING. They realize it is their natural right to pursue economic opportunity, and, now that they find themselves in the position that they can do so, on ein which they don't need a degree from taxi-driver university to drive a taxi, where they don't need to pay taxes even, where they can compete with the beast of big government and bigger corporations, and stick it to them. When they realize that such people don't really add ANY value to the world but rather profit by leaching value from it; when they realize they have been screwed over by such people over and over and over and over and over again, they realize they are justified in cutting them out of the loop and happily then do just that.
And yes, it is inevitable, because, ultimately, we know the way government and corporate types behave: they will NEVER change; they will continue and continue and continue to screw-over regular people as much as they possibly can (the pompous, amoral, boffers that they are) because it's in their debased nature to do so.
You can't really be off-topic in a xeno thread, dpenguins. He refuses to actually talk about the supposed subject. The subject is whatever we make it, because we're the only people actually talking about anything. ![]()
We're on page FIVE and he hasn't even made an argument for why poor people should have more children and rich people should have less children... in a thread very clearly proposing this. He hasn't even made an argument.
xeno syndicated,
You know nothing about the benefits of currency. You know nothing about capitalism. In my humble opinion, it's pretty disrespectful of you to post all of this spam to the forum when you openly admit you know nothing about the subject, as is apparent in your refusal to answer simple, basic inquiries about your proposals.
