Re: The Einstein jump

Ok so it is very apparent to people in MW that a family jumped planets early and with a popper.

This is the Einstein jump.

The Einstein jump relies upon using endu at BoR efficiently (each explorer costs 5 endu) and spending excess cash. It also is a bit reliant upon the endu market remaining high for two days in the early stages and an iron and endu bottoming out after that.

As of now the jump was 'mixed'. We had a banker who was very late starting (he said he would be on at start) and this significantly affected portions of the jump.

However we were able to correct and the start did include three planets for CF's as well (thus giving us maximum space to grow on with the saved endu).

If endu had remained locked at 50 for 54 hours we would have 'broken even' with other fams with 4 bankers who employed a CF rush plan. Then even if endu dropped we could not just 'keep up' but we would surpass other families by an additional 10k gc a tick. That and the fact we had so many planets so early of course.

Meanwhile the population grows, we get security on them, we watch the population grow, and try a pop banker from the start with some serious growth.

I think it will pay off.

I also think as people do the math of the strategy themselves we will see variations of this done at BoR where at least 8 planets are handed to a pop banker asap to get growth.

Yes I used TO's as well to increase the total income of my population.

If I knew resources were going to drop so fast... I might have made it 32 planets after all. But i predicted resources staying high for longer. Thus we went resource heavy to compensate for expected market conditions and to support the heavier expected income.

Not only is the pop rush plan viable, it is flexible. If iron stays high you make CF's for cash. If iron is low when pop is getting near full you make LQ's.

Worst case you can also transfer a planet or two out for construction of resourcer stuff if the market is absolutely stuffed and way to profitable. I easily predict that I shall be the first to breach 1 million a tick in income barring some hate from someone or such.

Re: The Einstein jump

Yeh. Your 2500 buildings behind top place. Your income is not 30k. Hence, fail.

give it a little more Zidi.. give it a little bit more tongue

Re: The Einstein jump

Einstein jump:
1. Spend family resources on explorationships and TO.
2. Enjoy highest nw for the first 2 days.
3. ????????
4. Blame failure on a random mistake.

Is that how it works?

why would it be locked at 50 for 54 hours?!

Re: The Einstein jump

there's one serious flaw in your strat, flint:
-20% research

Even if u were the fastest to start with this early round plan, you're [spending money on hookers] mid round and late round when research is the most important aspect of banking

At the start it's all about fast return on investment. a pure pop start is the opposite of that

I'm on fire!

Re: The Einstein jump

i think if u went heavy ress, and focussed on building lq on home only, u could get somewhere, with 50% pop growth its full fast so u start asap on LQ. stick to CF on the explored planets 80% and wait for lq for them last 20%. those cf's allready would have payed back their costs when ud decide to replace them. (gets even cheaper if ud prebuild them first)

this wouldv made sure your income was as good as the other fams were, and stil be able to get 100-200k pop on a very short notice. now all we gotta do is wait til someone ops your popper.

Re: The Einstein jump

This has been tried countless times before, and ive done it myself aswell. The problem is basicly a too slow return on investement, by the time you are ready to boost, other families are allready way ahead of you.

What fam is he, so we can compare his strategy to my strategy?

Re: The Einstein jump

Whatever einstein thinks up, it is bound to fail. All very nice in pure spreadsheet format, mathematically sound, except he always forgets some variables, and most importantly, he forgets that this is a game with changing circumstances. His 'grand plan' invariably fails due to : other fam members not being on 25 hours per day, leader failing to understand the importance of the (failing) strat and not granting einstein all fam resources for several days, some other fam attacking them (the audacity!), etc. To make a long story short : Einstein jumps (whatever they're supposed to mean this time) fail but it will never be einstein's fault.

When speaking your mind, it is of utmost importance to keep using it !

Re: The Einstein jump

I think we can already compare your strat Noir to Einstiens. Just look at 45's banker right now. 23 planets and double the NW. And I'm sure he makes far more a tick. Being an outsider to both the fams, and the strats, it looks pretty obvious to me which is already working better

Re: The Einstein jump

nah. 45 could be doing much better than now. just not active enough to execute our plans if not it will be better than now. cant understand flint's strat tho. think hes gonna delete? cos his race is totally warped. as talic mentioned, -20% is a bitch

Re: The Einstein jump

There is so many things wrong with this 'jump' it would take an hour to type them all out

Re: The Einstein jump

Did someone op their pop? That is pretty hilarious tongue

Re: The Einstein jump

Rofl.

And thats why it doesn't work.

Re: The Einstein jump

It totally is a viable start. it's a huge investment and the returns don't really show until tomorrow. but we won't get to see it this round due to the ops tongue

Re: The Einstein jump

+1 for who ever opped him tongue

Re: The Einstein jump

how much was that popper making then at its peak?

Re: The Einstein jump

Dunno, wasn't maxed out. I think it was only 40-60k before we got shot down. I think it would've maxed out in a day or so, and that should've been making alright income with his infra being only 8 TO's. Pump eco and welfare a bit for a few days (maybe? I don't do math) while we work on other bankers. The next few days were when the strategy was supposed to have paid off because after the huge first day investment, we just let him grow while working on other bankers.

But hooray for bored people with grudges or multi oppers.

Re: The Einstein jump

40-60k being pop btw*

just for the record, there's people WITH CF that have almost the same pop so... yah wink

Re: The Einstein jump

Funny people thinks a fam deserves being oped just for trying 1 tactic out. Also the acount opping was a multi acount only created to op. Creating multi acount just to kill someones round and you people cheer on it.. way to keep people in the game. calling them fags is it just me finding this extremely rude?

Its supposed to be fun! <KujjeR>
