Doobie, are you stupid?  who did we farm?  we offered 99 a free PNAP after 150 planets (which was 10%).  they refused it and kept attacking us so obviously we were going to destroy their infra to make them stop building fleet.  in fact, we only destroyed the 2 guys who kept funding their attacker's fleet; we left everybody else alone.  so who did we farm?  ask the fams we warred with: 02, 03, 04, 97.  we gave all of them a PNAP the moment they asked.  and if you're talking about 84 and 87, i took 40 planets tops from each.  87 had 1.4k as a fam and the 2 guys i attacked from 84 were within 75% of my NW.  how is that farming?

Pretty sure i suggested bringing back the code of honour Primo, and almost certain you totally blanked it.  Anyways, i agree it needs to be rewritten and reinstated.  I think there should be a maximum of planets given as part of nap agreements.  and if everyone was following the same rules then there will be no disadvantages.  If fam A is fair and naps for nothing and fam B takes naps for 100's of p's.  fam B wins size and fam A feels a bit troubled,  maybe next round they follow the same bad lesson?

As someone who played during that time period, I'm not sure the glory days of IC Honour are being effectively represented. Sure there were counterattacks against the most visible, but it was a shadow tactic meant to hide the fact that you had the largest family or families, farming agreement breakers under the auspice of enforcing honour. Made them look good, while also securing their spot as the dominant power for the round. Not a bad tactic though and certainly one that could be brought back, just so long as people aren't holding any crazy illusions as to what they're doing.

sounds like alot of players are willing to agree.. but at the end of the day it still will be diffcult as too Ego play a major role in these Wars and NAP breaks and Etc.. players who refuse to admit Defeat.. someone holding a grudge from previous rounds etc etc

the police family should be the only one in the gal that is allowed to draft all their players.:D  they need to be decent otherwise they wouldn't be able to punish the dishonourable players.:P  i dunno, this is a hard concept to reinforce; some people just don't have moral fiber.

Dukey...... long time man... problem is there is no line between expo-phase and rest of round.... good old days with Tri's in PW we had expo-phase and after that wars.... nowadays there is no real expo-phase anymore.... the moment the galaxy is filled the round is over.

Other problem is you have no idea when people start raiding. So you make plans to hit a close fam real early so you hit them before they hit you. I'm thinking that way too last few rounds I played since I been raided early in rounds few times.

Fams don't have time to settle these days.... I think if we have 3 weeks expo-phase before the big attacks start fams will have time to settle more and prepare for wars.
