well bstallion don't forget all the good players on portugals team were sitting, relaxing and watching from the sidelines. All the players on the field were people who never get to play in a game that counts.

on the other note should Spain meet Holland big_smile - then its a very different path than the one you believe in wink

I thought of Spain very highly after the first game - the second game however showed they need luck to gain a hard victory over Sweden - I'm not saying that Spain was not the better and more active part in the second game, but it certainly looked very far from convincing wink

Turks are indeed lucky scoring twice in the overtime in the qualifiers - They just wanted to win so much more than the Chechs - it almost made me sick how slow and unmotivated the Chech team was and somehow they managed a 2-0 lead - Im no fan of turkey at all rather the opposite, but today they just were the better team and wanted to win so much more + the chcech coach is a moron big_smile

some more interesting games coming soon - fingers crossed for sweden and Holland wooooo

rotweiler i agree spain weren't too good in the game against sweden, they could've capitalized on their demanding possesion, i think they will learn from that game..they really pulled up their socks in the last few minutes and the result was a goal, throughout the whole game(except the first few minutes) spain wasn't running the ball up, they passed it sideways

later in the game, they looked at the clock and they started RUNNING UP and passing up and creating nice plays

i think they will do that in quarter, semi and final big_smile
