IC my whole point here is why people are doing this. Why do people accept being humiliated by paying 400 planets to avoid a war?

pay 400 planets against fighting a battle you can never win, lose probably around the same, + tonnes of infra + tonnes of savings + tonnes of spread and motivation.
its a easy decision speaking logically, that being said i prefer to go out in a massive ball of flames and cause my enemy as much of a irritation as i can.

Haha, Noir, only 95 paid you guys that many planets. 97 didn't pay 400 planets to 88. I would have spent the week fighting over 200 planets instead before paying out 400 without a drop of blood. You got trolled, and your whole complaint in this thread is really only on 95, and YOU GUYS were the family that offered them! How does hypocrisy taste?

whole point of offering them a nap for 450 planets was so that they do not accept it. we offered 01 the same terms and they agreed to pay but still we warred. i believe we accepted it bcos 95 was clear that they didnt want to fight at all, which would kill all the fun of having cancellation wars in the first place

Most of my comments have been to poke the fact that 95 paid you guys 450 planets when we didn't come even close to that for 88. The only reason we paid 88 is not that I was afraid to fight them, I made that quite clear up front, but that I was finding my time to be more valuable for other things instead of a war that would only wreck my families infra. With so many shares, and lack of attacking power/skill, and being outsaved by so much, the only chances I had of coming close to winning was to have ICD fall asleep on the toilet again with the family bank. The odds of that were in my favor, but I'll never be one to bet on ICD.
You say that your not afraid to fight them, than u add several reasons that make u look like a total coward right after. We offered 95 that amount cause they didn't wanna fight and I was hoping they said no.
So, using logic makes me a coward? Please explain.
And remember to keep it simple since I'm obviously retarded and can't seem to grasp that making a decision to put my family in a better position 2 days from now than I would have been in a war with 88 was a bad thing.

the opoint here is that weve never seen this kind of handing over planets pre-waar before. Not that i can recall atleast.
There's always 1 or 2 fams that pay out. I would agree it's a higher rate than normal. For 95 to agree to 450 planets without a war though was unprecedented. You should have started at 1000 lol.
So, I understand Teddy's complaints. Teddy had it all planned out to watch 88 and us fight, and then have a super easy eor fight. Having those plans ruined would aggravate me as well. But I still don't understand Noir complaining about people paying planets to avoid a war. The only reason he has never done it is that he manages to PNAP every family that would challenge him before the round starts
