yeah this is great for the 3-4 families who really competed last round, the rest might as well not even play pinwheel. Super gay.
yea 3-4 families.. ..that are becoming stronger by including better players who wanna stay ,
and inactives and noobs ... will be excluded
and sadly the other 8 will just be a shuffle of the same 8 families from last round that didnt stand a chance.
MW is already a runaway round, this is a good way to make sure 90% of players arent competing in either galaxy. Man im about to have sooo much fun these next few weeks.

this is the correct way of doing things, you say only top fams would use stay in family option, I dont think so, the round was very competitive. And those who dont want to stay in fam are being randomly placed like its ment to
and if you dont like the stay in fam option then we should debate about it, I wouldnt mind to go random every round if PW wasn't infected with MW idling players and a lot of multis and inactive people.
My idea about a player pool still stands so that's the way to be sure only those interested in playing gonna be allowed to play. Freely clicking "join PW" shouldn't be allowed unless your name is in a list and we all know who you are and waht are you doing here.
We'd be playing this weekend if it's kept the way it is, now we're waiting till next week?
you have a point, i didnt notice it 2 months ago, and even when given the option earlier this week it didnt bother me, but now that we're going back like this it seems wrong. my fam finished 4th in pcount last round (i think) and the majority of players chose to change fams, so its no surprise that only 3 families are taking advantage of this opportunity.
either way, bugs have messed the game up periodically, and most of the time we're left to swallow it. this isnt the one to fix, and this is certainly not the right way to fix it. as ive said, this merely gurantees that 3 competitive families from last round get to come back and play against eachother again, while the remaining families are just shuffled into variations of the same noncompetitive mess.
There probabably were lots of people who used the stay in fam option last round, but probably not organized enough to get themselves together and go to the mods. This "fix" tips the scales to the three fams who have posted to a level that borders on absurdity. i can see why the 24 players listed would want this, but that leaves how many, 100 that didnt?
i thought i was past the point where this game could really uspset me...really, getting butchered in mw this round was easy enough to laugh off (im a 89 member) but this is just crazy, unfair, and i find it hard to beleive it was even considered, let alone that it is being put into effect.
well Sunshine, leaders have 48h to write their lists, it is early to tell wether this is fair or not, only 3 posted their lists, but in 2 days other leaders can post and give them people a chance to stay in the fam that they couldnt get due to a bug ... that's the only purpose of this decision.
It would have been better to get it done some days ago, I agree with that, but you know many people disconnects from IC when a round is over to rest some days and expecting to be placed where they chose or just random in

i take that to mean that we are in agreement: if only 3 fams post their list its unfair to everyone else
and for the record i dont begrudge you at all for pushing for this, it was supposed to be stay in fam and your fam was good. i simply mean to argue that it shouldnt have been stay in fam and this fix is unsatisfactory.
I don't understand how it's unfair? All fams are given the opportunity. It wasn't only offered to those 3.
The fix is only unsatisfactory because you didn't like it from the start. That's only logical, and makes that viewpoint irrelevant to the conversation.
The problem is PW is not going to get any competitive this way.. I understand that doing this it's fair because the round was supposed to be a "stay in fam" round, but I think only the 4-5 top leaders will apply to this because the rest didn't picked the stay in fam option to try and get into more active fams. So in the end we will still have 4-5 active fams and the rest will be fams with 3-4 active and the rest multis/ss's/inactives
